I was so sad, when the doctor tell me that you need to continue another 3 cycles first! What do you mean by 3 cycles first? To me it seem like a "Never ending story". I ask the doctor until when she said,"We will scan again after 3 cycles". My husband already want to give up chemo. He wanted me to go purely on Chinese medicine which has no scientific proof.
I tell the doctor my concern and I'm not happy with the result. She advice that maybe after this 3 cycles I go for avastin only. My husband agreed with it.
I think it is fair that I go for more chemotherapy, as the 1st stage cancer patient also go for 4 cycles. I'm at stage 4, so fair enough.
I interview a friend who also diagnose with stage 4 lung cancer. She did 16 times of chemotherapy. If she can survive with it, I'm sure I can.
I have no sickness till now only the tumour litter pain and a litter side effect of the treatment on the 1st week. Therefore I'm sure I can be cure. I will fetch my son to school and I will do the jogging with him.
